WES-HENS LABRADORS is a small responsible breeder of  Labradors located in Texas. We strive to produce and show quality labs, with a focus on temperament, conformation, and structural soundness. We breed for quality not quantity. We only breed to preserve the Labrador breed for this reason NO breeding rights are ever given out to pet homes. Puppies that are show/breeder quality are retained by WES-HENS LABRADORS or the stud owners. UNLESS BOTH WES-HENS LABRADORS AND THE STUD OWNER(When an outside stud is used) AGREES TO RELEASE THEM. We do not believe it is our right to give out breeding rights on a bloodline that does not belong to WES-HENS LABRADORS. For this reason, ALL outside stud owners will be given the courtesy of involving them in the decision making if or when breeding rights are given out.

WE DO NOT PROMOTE THE SALE OF SILVER OR ANY OTHER DESIGNER OR ANY OTHER DOGS CLAIMING TO BE OR REG AS DILUTE LABRADORS. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PURE BRED LABRADOR THAT HAS A SILVER OR CHARCOAL COAT, or any other type of dilute Labrador retriever, so if you are searching my website for dilute puppies, semen etc. you won't ever find it here. Wes-Hens Labradors does not participate in cross-breeding Labrador Retrievers with other breeds to make designer dogs. Labrador Retriever coat colors are black, chocolate and yellow as recognized within ALL written breed standards including AKC , UKC and FCI. We will never knowingly sell our puppies to those who support and breed other colors of labradors -We will do all we can to warn breeders and puppy buyers for so-called 'silver', 'champagne' and 'charcoal' Labs.  This is the opinion of The AKC Parent Club of the Labrador Retriever in regards to silver or other dilute Labradors.

Rhonda, thank you thank you, thank you for these wonderful photos! It’s so much fun to see Zoe's mother and father together. I see mama's tongue hanging out of the side of her mouth just like her daughter's does. They both have such contented, happy expressions. Aaron (and I) will treasure these baby pictures, I assure you. Zoe was such a cute little puppy! I can almost smell her sweet milky puppy breath. You have gone above and beyond what we could have ever hoped for! Our veterinarian was so impressed with your thoroughness! He couldn’t stop smiling as he looked at all of the information that you provided on both parents. And, of course, he loved Zoe! He agreed with you that it would be best to wait until she is 18 months old to spay her. He pointed out that waiting will also help her avoid some cancers, too - an added bonus! I am so sorry for responding so slowly to this message. This week has been unusually busy with doctor’s appointments, volunteer work, and, of course, playing with Zoe. Aaron worked from home Monday and Tuesday to help Zoe adjust to her new family and surroundings. Zoe is so different than Aaron’s last dog, Kira. She is so calm! We don’t have to raise our voices when correcting her. A quiet but firm “Uh uh” is all that it takes, and she happily comes over to get praise for stopping what she was doing. She has discovered herself in the mirrors and is puzzled about that other dog. Several times a day she checks to see if it is still there. She likes to look out the windows, but would rather Aaron or I go with her into the backyard. I understand how everything is all so new to her. I see her confidence growing day by day, so I’m confident that she will be able to go by herself in a little while. This morning after Aaron left for work she did a happy lap around the kitchen and into the family room - just feeling good. I really commend you for raising such a happy pup. I will send you another update in a week or so. For now please know that you have made two people very happy with this beautiful pup. Margie

I just wanted to pop in and say what a wonderful well rounded puppy Dozer (drakexDez) pup is. It really shows the time and breeding you take on to breed true sweet temp/gorgeous dogs. I cant wait to watch him grow and im excited to be part of the family. Hes exactly what you said he was and made the best match for my family:)

Just wanted to say how much we love our girl Ouis. All the time that your put into her truly shows and her laid back demeanor is wonderful. We couldn't have gotten any luckier than finding her. It's unfortunate that she failed her eyes tests but I have to admit I'm also happy because she is now a part of the Boyer family and fits right in. We receive tons of compliments from friends, family and complete strangers as to how wonderful she is. Thank you Rhonda!
